CRCS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Directors/Nominated Supervisors with exceptional leadership qualities and a strong ability to guide, mentor, and empower our team.

This role is based in Ginninderra ELC located in Belconnen Community Centre.

Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre offers a unique wrap-around service, combining high quality early education and care with integrated family support. We provide a nurturing environment for children while offering a tailored resource, guidance, and programs to empower and support families.

About the role

In this exciting and important role you will enjoy undertaking the following responsibilities:

• You have a vision to support local families and their children by mentoring and leading your team to exceptional heights.
• Be a key contributor to delivering wonderful moments.
• Demonstrate the understanding of NQF standards, demonstrate professional boundaries and assist others with ethical dilemmas.
• Actively and positively work to resolve operational, interpersonal and family concerns for the Educational and Care Service.
• Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families to assess and support children's learning and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to positively interact with educators, children, families and the community each day.
• A genuine passion for and interest in working with children and families.
• Ability to build capacity and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the Regulatory Framework.
• Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates.
• Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood or working towards a Bachelor in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).
• An innovative approach to service promotions and marketing.
• Candidates with a minimum of two years of previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Director will be highly valued for their desirable skills and experience.

CRCS also requires all employees to:

• Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
• Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position.
