About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nominated Supervisor/Director to join our team at Play Patch ELC in Coorparoo, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in leading our early learning centre and driving continuous improvement in the quality of care and education we provide.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing strong educational leadership and management to the centre, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, regulations and the National Quality Standards.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the service in line with company policies and procedures.
  3. Overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of the centre's educational program to support the learning and development of all children.
  4. Recruiting, managing, coaching and developing a high-performing team of early childhood educators.
  5. Fostering positive relationships with families and the local community.
  6. Monitoring the centre's budget and financial performance.
  7. Completing all required administrative tasks and regulatory reporting.
  8. Ensure health and safety standards are always maintained in line with regulational requirements and above.

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education Diploma or higher.
  2. Current working with children check and first aid certification.
  3. Significant experience in a senior leadership role within the early childhood education and care sector.
  4. Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  7. Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
