We're looking for a visionary Portfolio Director to join our dynamic team and lead multiple centres toward success.
About the Role:
As a Portfolio Director, you will oversee and support a portfolio of early learning centres, supporting Centre Directors and Area Managers to deliver exceptional educational programs, operational excellence, and a nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. This is a strategic leadership role that blends business acumen with a genuine commitment to quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the company area managers and centre directors in all aspects of operations.
- Step into roles as the nominated supervisor for periods of time when requested.
- Drive high-quality educational outcomes, compliance, and operational standards.
- Support educators and staff with professional training and mentoring to effectively manage the service, whilst providing feedback regarding performance on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategies that foster growth and innovation.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure centres achieve enrolment, financial, and quality targets.
- Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community.
About You:
- Diploma or Degree qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent field.
- A passion for fostering positive outcomes for children and families.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR.
- National Police Check (within 6 months).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Early Childhood Service or Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position in an Early Childhood Service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of service's requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance.
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018).
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an early education and care service.
