The aim is to create a holistic and uncomplicated logistics solution from customers to the respective service providers. For this purpose, the Cross Coordination Department at Rail Cargo Austria AG is looking for a part-time Data Steward (m/w/x). Your Job * Oversee the implementation of the company's data governance policy to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. * Define, monitor, and enforce data quality standards and procedures. * Identify and collaborate with data owners, analysts, and other stakeholders to align data governance practices with business objectives. * Document and maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and data lineage to improve data transparency and usability. * Identify and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with IT and business teams. * Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to employees on data governance practices and policies. * Regularly review and update data governance frameworks to meet evolving regulatory and organizational requirements. Your Profile * Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. * Proven experience in data stewardship, data governance, or a related role. * Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and tools. * Familiarity with data management platforms and technologies (e.g., Informatica, or similar tools). * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive organizational buy-in for governance initiatives. * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. * Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) are a plus.
