What is our Deputy Campus Facility Manager role?

Deputy Campus Facility Managers manage the operational activities for North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Facilities Management (FM), KEMH tertiary health site with its associated infrastructure complexities, ensuring all works are conducted in accordance with departmental and organisational requirements and objectives. This role provides support and operational direction to internal trade staff and external contractors with the development and implementation of day-to-day activities. In addition, this role maintains a high-quality environment for patients, staff, and all site users by coordinating the delivery of an efficient and cost-effective system of maintenance for all Engineering and Building systems for plant and equipment, services, facilities, and buildings for NMHS.

Facilities Management is responsible for operating and maintaining health assets to ensure they remain functional and can support the delivery of high-quality healthcare to consumers. The FM team provides services and support across a range of facilities operated by Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group, Mental Health Public Health Dental Services, as well as Women and Newborn Health Service. Additionally, Facilities Management also supports tenant management activities for leased properties.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed-term appointment, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
