As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Architecture to lead our team, drive project success, and strengthen our multidisciplinary capabilities.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager – Architecture, you will lead our architectural department, ensuring smooth project execution, exceptional design outcomes, and strong client relationships. You will also manage the integration of engineering sub-consultants across multidisciplinary projects. This is a pivotal leadership role for a strategic, results-driven professional with a passion for design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Business Growth
- Lead and grow the Architectural Department, expanding market reach, revenue, and profitability.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, negotiate project fees, and build strong client partnerships.
- Oversee early project engagement, including marketing, client consultations, and contract proposals.
Project & Team Management
- Oversee architectural project delivery, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, high-quality results.
- Allocate resources, balance workloads, and schedule projects efficiently.
- Foster seamless collaboration between architects and engineering sub-consultants.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Ensure design quality, project documentation, and compliance with Australian building codes & regulations.
- Maintain accurate project reports & forecasts using our job management system.
Engineering Coordination
- Engage and manage engineering sub-consultants (Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Engineering).
- Ensure smooth integration of engineering disciplines into architectural designs.
- Review and coordinate consultant deliverables to meet Australian standards.
Talent & Employee Development
- Work with HR to recruit, onboard, and develop top architectural talent.
- Lead mentorship, employee training, and professional development initiatives.
Contracts & Financial Management
- Prepare and review Scope of Works and Fee Proposals for clarity and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure quality control, contract compliance, and adherence to industry regulations.
- Provide strategic support to senior leadership.

- Multidisciplinary project experience, coordinating engineering sub-consultants.
- Client-focused mindset, adept at managing relationships and expectations.
- Business development skills, including contract negotiation and market expansion.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, planning regulations, and compliance standards.
