Activities Supervisor

Beach House Seaside resort is looking for an experienced Activities Supervisor to join their team.

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate & organise the resort activities team and help provide a variety of recreational experiences to enhance the holidays of our members and guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Arrange, design and oversee various activities offered to guests
  2. Operation of the cafe & bar
  3. Co-ordinate the Activities team
  4. Liaise and report to the Duty Manager to ensure smooth running of the activities department including staff rostering
  5. Responsibly co-ordinate family fun day at Jack Evans harbour and brief team and guests on use of water equipment and safety requirements
  6. Liaise with Maintenance department to ensure activities equipment is serviceable
  7. Co-ordinate the welcome party & trivia night
  8. Assist with driving the resort bus for pick up and drop off airport runs and activity days when required.
  9. Flexible to work a rotating roster when needed for annual leave coverage

KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  1. Demonstrate organisational skills
  2. Provide exceptional holiday experiences for guests
  3. Experience in water sport activities
  4. Thorough understanding of Workplace Health & Safety Standards
  5. Current LR driver's License preferred or can be obtained
  6. Current Blue Card (WWC)
  7. Current First Aid Certificate
  8. RSA and Barista qualified or can be obtained
  9. Positive attitude with confident, cheerful personality
