This position offers a 6-month term initially with flexibility in its engagement model and can be structured as either an employee of KeyInvest or as an independent contractor, depending on the candidate's preference and business needs.
Reports To: Group Executive – Strategic Initiatives and Business Support
Objective of the Position:
KeyInvest is embarking on a 3-year transformation program across Risk Management and the Business. To support the delivery of the KeyInvest Transformation (KIT) program, a Project Management Office is being established to execute the delivery. KeyInvest is a dynamic Financial Services company committed to supporting the unique financial needs of our customers. We have demonstrated tangible progress in improving technology, enhancing member and partner experiences, increasing fund returns, and developing new products to meet the financial needs of our members. Our strategic initiatives have led to significant growth, including revenue and net profit after tax (NPAT) increases, and recognition for our products and services.
The Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enhancing operational efficiency. This role oversees project lifecycles, manages cross-functional teams, and optimizes processes to support business growth and continuous improvement. By liaising with key stakeholders and fostering collaboration, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and support project teams, delegating tasks effectively to maximize productivity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between executives, departments, and external partners to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project milestones, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep initiatives on schedule.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and optimize workflows, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Strategic Planning & Innovation: Contribute to business strategy by identifying opportunities for innovation and operational enhancements.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Project Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, meeting deadlines and objectives.
- Leadership & People Management: Strong ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to assess challenges, develop solutions, and drive results.
- Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Budget & Resource Planning: Experience in managing financial and human resources efficiently.
- Change Management & Process Optimization: Understanding of business transformation and continuous improvement methodologies.
