ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join a respected and growing organisation as the Executive of Community Services. As a key strategic role, you will be responsible for leading and driving the Community Services Division's operations, growth, and service delivery across multiple regions. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people with disabilities, the aged and those facing disadvantages, fostering inclusion and empowerment through person-centred services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the Community Services Division, guiding business development and fostering partnerships that drive sustainable growth. Your expertise in service design, resource management, and team leadership will be central to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful services. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in the human services sector, strong financial stewardship, and a proven track record in leading change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the growth of services across Victoria, New South Wales, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to identify new opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, and to maintain high standards of service excellence.
  • Lead high-level sales strategies and business development initiatives to diversify services, secure new funding opportunities, and expand market presence.
  • Inspire and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Ensure services align with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements while promoting safety and wellbeing across operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, philanthropic organisations, and industry peers.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Possess a deep respect for the rights and dignity of people with disabilities and those experiencing barriers to employment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in human services (or related) and a strong background in managing and leading teams within the human services or disability sector.
  • Proven success in developing and expanding services, with a focus on sustainability and quality.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally, to foster collaboration and drive strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in writing successful funding proposals, navigating complex policy frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Experience managing organisational change, driving innovation, and improving service delivery.
