WHAT'S INVOLVED?

As the Supply Manager, you will oversee and manage the critical supply functions of receivals, purchasing, inventory control, production planning and scheduling, and global procurement. With a strong focus on both short and long-term planning, you'll ensure optimal material flow to meet production demands while managing a small but effective team.

  • Leadership & Team Management – Lead a small team to ensure timely procurement, inventory control, and production alignment with company objectives.
  • Purchasing & Procurement – Oversee raw material sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Production Planning – Develop and manage short- and long-term production plans, ensuring efficient resource use and minimal disruptions.
  • Inventory Management – Monitor and maintain accurate raw material stock levels, coordinating with suppliers for cost-effective replenishment.
  • Process Improvement – Optimise supply chain processes, enhancing inventory management, procurement strategies, and production efficiency whilst meeting ethical sourcing responsibilities.
  • Collaboration – Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and meet delivery targets.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in supply management, particularly within FMCG manufacturing. Experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals is highly regarded. To succeed in this role, you must combine strategic thinking with hands-on management. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Additionally, expertise in inventory management systems and ERP software, along with the ability to analyse and interpret data for informed decision-making is required.
