At HomeStart, we've helped over 84,000 South Australians achieve their dream of home ownership. We're now seeking an exceptional finance professional to join our leadership team and drive our financial strategy forward.

Reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping HomeStart's financial future while supporting our mission of making home ownership accessible to more South Australians.

Impact & Influence

As a key member of our finance leadership team, you'll:

  • Partner with the Executive Team to drive strategic financial decision-making
  • Lead complex financial modeling and analysis for our 5-year strategic outlook
  • Provide expert technical accounting guidance across the organisation
  • Oversee treasury operations and sophisticated financial reporting frameworks
  • Design and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
  • Deliver strategic insights that shape organisational direction
  • Lead key stakeholder relationships including auditors and government agencies
Your Expertise

As an accomplished finance professional, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' senior accounting experience (Big 4 or large corporate background)
  • Deep technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in treasury operations and financial statements preparation (highly regarded)
  • Banking or mortgage lending industry knowledge (highly regarded)
