General Manager Property and Facilities

Here is a rare opportunity to secure a Commercial Property and Facilities Management role with a well-renowned PNG organisation. Based in Port Moresby, and with travel to the provinces, you will be responsible for a large property portfolio consisting of a mix of over 100 residential and commercial properties which is continuing to grow. You will manage a team of 40+ staff consisting of admin and maintenance teams by utilising your hands-on leadership style.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the CEO, you and your team will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the group's land and property strategies, improving the quality of assets, and growing the portfolio.
- Managing tenant and leasing arrangements including coordinating and maintaining property standards ensuring safety and client satisfaction.
- Dealing with regulatory bodies and governance.
- Implementing and maintaining strong business processes to ensure sustainable asset management and reporting.
- Improving return on investment performance of the group's property portfolio.
- Leading, training, and developing a highly skilled team through great organisation and communication skills.
ABOUT YOU
You will have previous experience as a Commercial Property/Facilities Manager and have significant experience in an organisation managing large property portfolios, and will demonstrate the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with superior organisational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated experience managing diverse stakeholders.
- Well-developed customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills.
