SA Water is a successful, modern water utility wholly owned by the Government of South Australia. About the job
SA Water is seeking a Filed Operations Regional Manager to represent our beautiful Eyre Peninsula area to ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of water and wastewater services to customers including a proactive customer focused response to faults in the area.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure performance goals of team members are aligned to business goals, ensuring accountabilities and authorities are clear and that direct reports have the authorities needed to be able to achieve their work.
- Hold quality conversations providing relevant and timely feedback and invest in the development of our people to build team capability.
- Proactively lead and drive change within our regional field teams.
- Lead and build a team that strives for no harm in the workplace and progressively improve the safety performance of the team to achieve strategic and business plan goals.
- Effective resolution of complaints relating to water supply faults including prompt resumption of supply to the customer.
- Assist in the development of Lead and Improve the Business Initiatives and Business Plans, including Service Continuity.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to build a culture of service excellence.
Your success in this role will come from:
- Relevant trade, technical or tertiary qualification.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and quality management systems.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in effective customer service.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater networks and their operation.
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and financial management.
