Business Manager (Finance and Insurance Consultant) - Trainee

Southgate Automotive Group is a South Australian, family owned and operated dealer group based in Reynella, 20kms south of the Adelaide CBD. Employing over 100 people, our group comprises of Reynella Mazda, Southern Volkswagen, Southgate Used Cars, Southgate GWM Haval, Southgate LDV and EV Moto SA. We currently deliver over 200 vehicles a month with an annual turnover in excess of $100 million per annum.

We are currently seeking a Trainee - Business Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Business Manager, the individual will be an energetic person with an ability to build strong relationships with our customers, based on trust and confidence. You will be trained to be responsible for presenting the various finance and insurance products, with excellent communication skills, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction, and being a result-oriented sales professional. You will be part of a passionate and organised Sales Team providing the business with the structure required for great results. We encourage people with previous sales experience to apply.

Key responsibilities after training will include:

  1. Offer finance and a full range of insurance products to all eligible customers.
  2. Ensure that all eligible products are explained in a documented, structured and disciplined way so that customers can make informed decisions.
  3. Prepare and submit finance applications.
  4. Forge strong relationships with the sales team, in order to ensure finance is considered by all customers.
  5. Comply with finance and insurance legislation, regulations and industry codes.
  6. Assist the Sales team with closing sales with finance opportunities.
