Database Developer

• Develop and implement complex SQL and PL/SQL code for application development, data manipulation, and business logic.
• Optimize Data Transformation and Loading
  • Design, develop, and optimize data transformation and loading processes using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Implement New Functionalities
  • Add new functionalities and logic as per business requirements, ensuring smooth integration into the system.
• Operate in Relational and Multidimensional Databases
  • Work in relational and multidimensional database environments, focusing on query optimization for performance.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders
  • Engage with data analysts and business stakeholders to refine data requirements and improve the solution.
• Participate in Migration to Google Cloud
  • Contribute to the migration process from Oracle database to Google Cloud, ensuring smooth data transition.
• Collaborate with Support Team
  • Work closely with the support team to resolve production incidents, implement bug fixes, and improve product functionality.
• Ensure Data Quality and Integrity
  • Maintain data quality and integrity while migrating data to Google Cloud, ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Oracle PL/SQL Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Hands-On Experience with Google Cloud
  • 1+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery, and Dataforms scripting for data modeling, query optimization, and data manipulation.
• Version Control Experience
  • Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos for version control and collaboration.
• Data Warehouse & ETL Process Experience
  • Experience in working with data warehouses and ETL processes, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Integration with Various Data Sources
  • Experience integrating various data sources into a cohesive data solution.
• Knowledge of Oracle Analytical Functions
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Analytical Functions for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
• Effective Communication Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in fluent English.
