Collaborate with BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and self-service analytics solutions on PowerBIDesign and develop intuitive reports, dashboards, and visualizations on PowerBI that cater to the needs of various business usersBuild robust data models (i.e. using dbt, SQL, and Databricks) to support self-service analytics capabilitiesImplement efficient data pipelines and transformations using SQL and Data Engineering best practicesEstablish and enforce CI/CD practices to ensure smooth deployment and version control of Reports, data models, and associated assetsWork closely with business users to understand their analytical needs and provide training, documentation, and support to enable self-service analyticsCollaborate with Data Engineers to ensure the availability, reliability, and accuracy of data sources used in self-service analyticsContinuously monitor and optimize the performance of reports, dashboards, and data models to ensure an optimal user experienceStay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in self-service analytics, BI tools, and data modeling techniquesAct as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and mentorship to other team members regarding self-service analytics and PowerBI usage Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plusProven experience in BI Analysis / Data AnalysisProven hands-on data experience, with demonstrated increase of responsibilities over timeProven experience as a BI Analyst or similar role, (experience with PowerBI, dbt, SQL, and Databricks).analyze dataProven ability to enable self-service analytics and empower business users to independently explore and analyze dataStrong proficiency in developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations on PowerBIStrong proficiency in developing and maintaining data models on PowerBI using DAX, M, etc.Expertise in building data models (i.e. using dbt, SQL, and Databricks) to support analytical needsProficient in SQL for data querying, analysis, and transformationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings to non-technical stakeholders A highly motivated team and an open way of communication Possibilities to work in a home office IT is and always has been our core business that laid the foundation for Hays' success.
