We are in search of a seasoned (Senior) Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer to become part of one of our portfolio companies and contribute to the digital transformation of the physical world.
Your main focus will involve working on fundamental computer vision and neural network elements for our top-notch mobile Optical Character Recognition (OCR) products.
- Join our partner company: An Austrian organization specializing in AI-based mobile text recognition and data extraction. This cutting-edge startup serves multinational enterprises and governmental entities.
In this role, you'll- Take charge of organizing, managing, generating, and preparing data for training and assessing our innovative machine learning strategies.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse Engineering team comprising mobile engineers, cloud experts, architects, and industry specialists.
- Engage with the Product team to grasp the business requirements of potential clients and users. Identify appropriate solutions to fulfill those needs, and assist in shaping and steering the product roadmap.
- Contribute to crucial development and architectural determinations by leveraging cutting-edge design principles and development practices.
- 3+ years of professional experience and extensive expertise in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
- Proficiency with contemporary neural network structures, and the deployment and operation of machine learning systems (MLOps)
- Strong programming skills in Python, alongside hands-on familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, and Numpy
- Strong sense of individual responsibility and objective-driven mindset
- Proactive approach to surpassing boundaries and stepping out of your comfort zone
- Fluency in spoken and written English
