Mechanics and Sheetmetal Shop

• Carrying out metal structure repairs on aircraft or components following maintenance and repair instructions.
• Assessing damages according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g. SRM - Structural Repair Manual).
• Performing structural component repairs, including stiffeners, brackets, and webs.
• Creating bushings and bearings using a lathe.
• Fabricating fuel tubes with a tube-bending machine.
• Conducting welding and weld repairs on aircraft parts.
• Crafting special tools on a lathe and milling machine.

• Completion of an apprenticeship or technical college degree.
• Prior experience with metal structure repairs or production and tooling is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating lathes and milling machines (conventional and CNC).
• Welding certification or knowledge of welding practices is beneficial.
• Capability to work independently and with precision.
• Background in the aviation sector is advantageous.
• Team player with flexibility and capacity to handle pressure.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Commitment to ongoing training.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is favorable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Unrestricted permission to work in Austria.
