Description
:Hitachi Energy is offering an excellent opportunity as a Regional Digital Sales & Business Development Lead to boost digital business growth in the Power Industry. The ideal candidate will excel at nurturing relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs, and advocating for our company's solutions and innovations to drive mutual satisfaction. This role involves crafting and executing the digital growth strategy for the DACH-Region.
The main objective is to play a pivotal role in expanding our business for sustainable success.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute the DACH-Region digital growth strategy, along with digital country growth plans.
- Engage in business development within emerging digital growth segments.
- Analyze the market landscape: Provide insights on local market dynamics and competitor activities in the digital domain.
- Contribute digital expertise and local insights to enhance value propositions.
- Promote digital value propositions across the DACH region.
- Meet targets for digital pipeline, order growth, and expansion into new sectors. Identify strategic opportunities and drive Capture Teams.
- Assist the Country's CEO and VP Sales with strategic accounts at a local and strategic level.
- Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate engagement with industry associations and groups in the region.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the digital sales team.
Your background
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in business or a technical field, accompanied by 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and/or Business Development.
- Possess expertise in the Digital Market and a strong background in the Power Industry.
- Demonstrate the ability to forge and sustain positive relationships and networks.
- Showcase a digital and technical acumen to instill customer confidence in solutions, present proposals effectively, and facilitate deal closures.
- Be a proficient communicator (both verbally and in writing) with the capacity to drive the defined strategy internally across multiple product lines, aiding in lead qualification, proposal responses, and contract negotiations.
- Exhibit a keen eye for quality, a sense of urgency, persistence in goal attainment, excellent teamwork skills, leadership qualities, and effective priority management.
- Experience in value-driven and strategic sales is advantageous, particularly in leading high-level sales engagements.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for business purposes.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
