In your new role you will:

  • Act as the main
    SEM expert for materials characterization techniques at KAI GmbH
-
Cooperate with a major SEM tool supplier for method development and knowledge transfer
-
Automate characterization processes using a Python interface
-
Develop data storage and processing options for characterization data together with local data experts

  • Document your results and
    share them within the team , with Infineon and with our project partners
You are best equipped for this task if you have:


  • Completed PhD in materials science, physics, chemistry or similar.
    Equivalently, a Master's degree in one of the above areas and relevant experience working as an SEM and materials science expert.

Expert in SEM usage

  • 5 years handson experience using
    SEM tools
  • 2 years handson experience in
    ECCI, EBSD or EBIC
  • Strong physics/materials science background (crystal defects, electronmatter interaction, etc.)
  • Experienced in
    Python programming:

Very good English skills written and spoken, preferably also German skills
