Our customer is one of the largest manufacturers of commercial trucks world-wide.

In order to strengthen the competence in the area of development of new energy commercial vehicles, the are now opening a new R&D Center in Steyr (Upper Austria).

For this R&D Center we are currently looking for a

Director new energy commercial vehicle validation Europe (M/F/d)**
Your responsibilities:
  • Participate, set and achieve the development goal of Europe version vehicles
  • Participate in building unique competitiveness of Europe version vehicles
  • Define and execute overall vehicles and assembly/system validation strategy
  • Responsible for benchmark validation strategy and plan of Europe version vehicles
  • Implement vehicle validation plans for authorized clients
  • Manage the local development team (probably 5person team in 2023)
  • Build competence, include work instructions, method, training and workshops

Your profile:

  • Leadership experience
  • Long term work experience of commercial vehicle validation
  • Knowledge of Europe commercial vehicle and assembly/system validation resources
  • Familiar with vehicle development procedure and validation procedure
  • Experience with CAE and virtual validation
  • Fluent in English and German, Chinese mandarin as a plus
