System Engineer Off-Road Commercial Vehicle, Powertrain Development f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of powertrain functions in collaboration with colleagues
  • Ensuring the interaction of the components in the drivetrain with regard to the fulfillment of future requirements (regarding driving performance, pollutant and CO2 emissions)
  • Supporting the validation of commercial vehicle systems on the test bench and in the vehicle
  • Independent project work in the area of commercial vehicle development with a focus on the powertrain
  • Interface function to suppliers and customers
  • Ensuring the efficient interaction of the individual components in the drivetrain
  • Supporting the further development of powertrains (conventional, electric or fuel cell-electric) in the area of integration and interaction

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Completed education (FH, TU or comparable) with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of electrified powertrains for construction machinery and agricultural vehicles as well as in the integration of powertrains in mobile work equipment (BEV, FCEV, hybrid or ICE)
  • Interest in commercial vehicles (trucks, tractors, construction machinery, ...)
  • Interest in direct customer contact and the presentation of development activities
  • Technical understanding to develop complex drive trains
  • Understanding of the overall vehicle / construction machine / tractor system
  • Very good knowledge of English, basic knowledge of German
  • Willingness to travel approx. 2-3 percent of the time (worldwide, mainly in Europe)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
