Your main task:
  • Research and implement a monitoring circuit to measure the output current of the half-bridge and design an integrated circuit to optimize the efficiency of SMPS at higher switching frequencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mastering the fundamentals of Buck converter and current monitoring circuitry.
  • Exploring various current monitoring concepts and evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Creating an integrated circuit design to monitor coil current for future bridge drivers.

This thesis requires collaboration with a university.


Additional prerequisites:
  • Understanding of SMPS and programming.
  • Passion for integrated circuit design and layout.
  • Experience with the Cadence design framework.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication abilities in English and/or German.

Details:

  • Employment Type: Temporary/Full-time or Part-time (flexible hours, Monday to Friday, 6-7).
