Your team's dynamic:

We are seeking an experienced privacy and cybersecurity lawyer to join our global Legal Department at Genetec. You'll play a key role in guiding us through the ever-changing privacy and cybersecurity landscape, ensuring compliance, fostering innovation, and upholding the trust of our customers, partners, and colleagues.

As a global leader in privacy and data protection efforts, you'll collaborate with various teams on cutting-edge projects and technologies like analytics and generative AI. Your contributions will be vital to our security and data protection compliance practices.

Your responsibilities will involve working closely with different teams:

  • Security team: Cybersecurity initiatives, incident management, and ISMS compliance
  • Product teams: Innovations and data usage
  • HR teams: Providing assurances to colleagues and job applicants
  • Sales teams: Addressing customer and partner inquiries
  • Marketing teams: Digital marketing projects
  • Legal Department team: Collaboration on various projects

More about you:

  • We are looking for smart, passionate individuals eager to grow and have fun while contributing.
  • The ideal candidate should be a lawyer in good standing with the law society of Austria, France, or the UK, with at least 8 years of experience in data protection and commercial law.
  • Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
