**Duties and responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that works on developing a digitaltwin for
pharmaceutical Hot Melt Extrusion (HME)

  • Plan, run and evaluate HME experiments in order to generate validation data
  • Develop a database of HME excipients and extruders needed for process simulations
- and process scale-up

  • Introduce new physical phenomena as part of our _inhouse_ Smoothed Particle
  • Hydrodynamics (SPH) and 1D HME simulation codes
  • Work on hands and industrially relevant research
**Requirements

  • A technical or natural scientific MS degree (Process Engineering, Chemical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Physics or
similar)

  • Knowledge in HME, SPH as well as basic knowledge in programing languages
(Phyton, C++, MATLAB) as an advantage

  • Professional conduct and communication skills in dealing with international clients,
partners and colleagues

  • Interest and experience in performing toplevel and targetoriented research at the
