Job Description
  • Work with product teams to develop architectural target images and transformation paths, both in terms of content and as a facilitator
  • Evaluate and design architectures considering functional and non-functional requirements, compliance with architectural principles, technical debt and relevant IT trends, among other factors
    Document the architecture and technology within the area of responsibility
  • Make decisions on architecture/technology
  • Coordinate technical details with software engineers and uphold standards
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching for developers, engineers, and team members
  • Support the implementation and documentation of new technical requirements
  • Collaborate on overarching topics with the central architecture team
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and technology stack as part of our communities of practice
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or similar qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the IT industry, with significant experience in software systems design and implementation
  • Knowledge of systems design and architecture modeling (e.g., arc42, C4, Archimate, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of software/application design and architecture
  • Software development experience with Java and Spring Boot, with web technologies knowledge being advantageous
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and QA principles
  • Expertise in professional IT architecture design including Cloud technologies (especially GCP), agile teams, container technologies, DevOps, microservice architectures, and design thinking
  • Understanding of technology architecture aspects like integration, network, and security
  • Technical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Independent and goal-oriented work approach
  • Preferably CPSA (Certified Professional for Software Architecture) training
