Your mission:

  • Provide strategic direction and support to business segment and plant Safety, Health and Environmental related activities to ensure compliance with regulations, supporting the Business Unit's (BU) SHE Manager where necessary.
  • Coordinate, present and discuss SHE BU topics with Segment COO/MD & BU SHE Manager, collaborating with SHE networks and working groups.
  • Offer continuous training and coaching in risk tools, utilizing the engagement board process during site visits.
  • Conduct regular visits to plants globally for audits, incident investigations, and training sessions, including support to new plant SHE Coordinators and MDs.
  • Provide additional support to designated focus plants, delivering feedback to site management teams on visit outcomes.
  • Support incident reporting and investigation following the Managing Incidents Conversation and Engagement (MICE) Practice Note.
  • Ensure quality of incident investigation management reports and notices, providing guidance as needed.

Your profile:

  • Formal education as a Safety Specialist or NEBOSH general certificate combined with relevant knowledge; familiarity with local legislations or ISO standards is required.
  • Over 10 years of experience as an SHE Specialist in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, strong communication, interpersonal, and multicultural skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a knack for empowering teams, setting goals, and driving outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
