In this position, you are the first point of contact for Van den Bosch Transporte GmbH in Gunskirchen and responsible for the performance of the local trucking.

The activities from the Gunskirchen office are focused on optimising the supply chains of our local customers. These activities stem from the vision of operating close to customers and employees. To implement this, you lead the local team and undertake sales activities. Besides a group of experienced and professional drivers, the team consists of planners, customer service employees and administrative support. In this position, you will report directly to the CEO.

Besides managing the local team and implementing the growth strategy, the focus of this position is on discovering new commercial opportunities, developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing customer relationships.

With your commercial efforts, you ensure further growth of the local organisation. In doing so, you will be in close contact with the Director Business Development and Commercial Director.

In this versatile role, you will be the person who ensures, at strategic, commercial and operational level, that our activities in Austria run optimally.

You optimise the cooperation with the head office in the Netherlands, where you have a connecting role and know exactly how to motivate both your team and the organisation.

Your profile:

• You have at least 5 years of managerial experience in the logistics sector, preferably in bulk logistics
• A completed logistics education
• You are an inspiring, peopleoriented leader
• You have strong commercial skills: you act on market opportunities and know how to assess their commercial value
• Good knowledge of the English language
• You are decisive, energetic and have strong analytical skills
• You have a great sense of responsibility, persuasiveness and selfinsight
