Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Part-time, 30 hours/week
Starting August 01, 2023, and ending after 6 years

What to expect:

  • Enroll in the PhD program and conduct your dissertation research at the institute
  • Publication of research projects in international journals
  • Teaching (project courses in cooperation with industry partners, such as Airbus, Magna, Kapsch, IBM, Siemens, or CERN)
  • Institute management (contribute to the continuous development of the institute as one of the bestperforming units within the university)
  • Writing a dissertation: You will be investigating your research topic and spending a third of your working hours on writing your dissertation.
  • Outstanding development opportunities (PhD alumni went on to international academic careers, career paths in consulting, topmanagement, or founded successful startups)
  • Excellent working conditions in a young, dynamic, and highlymotivated team
  • 6 years fixedterm 75% employment (usually ca. 4 years to complete PhD)
  • International research network (e.g., MIT, Harvard, Copenhagen Business School, WHU)

  • Supportive supervision of dissertation research and engaged research dialogue within the team

What you have to offer:

  • Highpotential with a master degree in business and management (alternatively in a related field, e.g., psychology, economics, or statistics)
  • Interested in the fields of open & user innovation, entrepreneurship, and management of innovation
  • Proficient in empirical social science methodology / statistics
  • Fluency in English and German required
  • Highly motivated, internationallyoriented, eager to learn, team player
  • Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: experience in using multimedia teaching and learning formats or are at least willing to learn

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €2.457,98 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on job-related prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
