Your Challenge

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive H&S Strategy for GBO International in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Cultivating a proactive H&S Culture within GBO to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees.
  • Leading the establishment of division-wide H&S standards and processes, ensuring compliance with regulations such as ISO 45001.
  • Serving as the Division Key User for the group-wide H&S reporting system (Sphera), analyzing H&S performance data and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborating with Operational Excellence to pinpoint H&S needs at a divisional level and oversee the implementation of measures to improve H&S standards at sites.
  • Conducting audits to evaluate the effectiveness of H&S Management Systems and processes for continuous enhancement.
  • Keeping abreast of evolving trends, regulations, and technologies in H&S, integrating relevant advancements into organizational processes.
  • Leading health & safety communities within the organization, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.

Your profile

  • University degree in quality and/or process management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a quality, health & safety manager.
  • Proficiency in ISO standards.
  • Strong system/process understanding with experience in lateral leadership and an intercultural setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a solution-oriented and forward-looking approach.
  • Diplomatic yet assertive personality capable of effective teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
