As a Department Manager in Technical Support and Repair, you'll be responsible for leading a team and serving as the primary contact for detailed technical and organizational inquiries regarding on-site service.

Collaborating on and building the Customer Support and Repair department within a product areaLeading a team of Customer Support and Repair professionalsAddressing all technical inquiries and standard questions regarding applications and salesRegularly monitoring the processing status of all support tickets within the product areaPlanning and conducting training sessions for service techniciansPerforming in-house repairs and product-specific testsCreating service documents such as service manuals, maintenance logs, and videosSupporting subsidiaries and distribution partners with installations, commissioning, and on-site service/maintenance assignmentsProactively providing technical support to the global sales and service networkOccasionally conducting installations, commissioning, and service/maintenance assignments at customer sitesManaging the improvement process by analyzing and generating error statistics and quality metrics, as well as evaluating feedback from various application areas of our measuring devicesRequirements:Completed technical education in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent (e.g., vocational school, technical college, university)
Several years of experience in service and customer interactionsLeadership experience is advantageousStrong organizational and communication skillsSense of responsibility and assertivenessManual dexterityExcellent English language skills, both written and spokenWillingness to travelWe offer you:

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications.
