We are looking for a committed university assistant (post doc) to support the development of the General Subject Didactics research group at the Institute for Teacher Education.

The position is to be filled for six years.

Your personal sphere of play

:

Your future position is in the work group of Prof. Dr. Martin Rothgangel. This position is the first postdoctoral position for General Subject Didactics, which also offers particular potential internationally.

There are also many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with other Subject-matter Didactics departments and with the newly founded Doctoral School in Education.


Your future tasks

:

Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

  • You build up an independent research profile in the field of General Subject Didactics.
  • You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of General Subject Didactics.
  • You publish internationally and give lectures.
  • You prepare and complete a publicationready habilitation.
  • You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
  • You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
  • You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

This is part of your personality

:

  • Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Subjectmatter Didactics
  • Outstanding dissertation
  • Research competence and initiative proven through international publications in peerrelevant media
  • Experience in research management and in leading project staff
  • Didactic skills / experience in elearning
  • IT skills
  • Knowledge of empirical research methods is a significant advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C1)
  • Team player and high social/communicative skills

Fixed-term contract and fair salary

The basic salary of EUR 4.752,30 (14 times a year) for a period of X years / XX months increases if we can credit professional experience.
