A new opportunity exists for an experienced Medical Coordinator to join Bechtel's Energy team on the Pluto Train 2 project, based in Karratha, Western Australia.

This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster.

About the Project:

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

About the Role:

As Medical Coordinator, it will be your responsibility to oversee the clinical, operational, technical, and budgetary aspects of the health services sub-contractor.

You will facilitate the execution of the medical services contract with regards to scope of work, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards to emergency procedures, and health and medical facility regulations.

Your duties will include:
- coordinate the day-to-day operations of the on-site subcontractor health services provider.
- facilitate weekly meeting to review all work-related injuries and illnesses and non-occupational illnesses and injuries for return to work requirements.
- monitor medical services contract by attending monthly Progress Meetings.
- monitor and oversee the medical records handover and archive process.
- oversee the implementation of the clinic policies and procedures manual and monitor for updates and compliance.
- other duties as required.

What You Bring:

• Nursing Science Degree or equivalent

- appropriately licensed, qualified, and registered to practice with the appropriate Nursing Registration Board as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
- preferable to have a post-graduate qualification in Occupational health.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the following:
• Clinic management in an occupational health setting
• Establishing and managing clinics
• Managing and leading teams
• Managing subcontracts
• Conducting clinical and quality assessments on health services
• Knowledge of the workers compensation process, and Occupational Health Standards and Regulations.

Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.

The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e.

cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
