The Mainframe Services Department (MDP) is responsible for the operation of the mainframe infrastructure components and forms the retained organization for the outsourcing partner Kyndryl.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a System Administrator for central software components on the mainframe.

What to do:

  • Solution management for central software components on the mainframe (file transfer / zOS Connect Direct, output management)
  • Creation and maintenance of operational documentation
  • Backup of the administration of the central prisma print server for customer documents
  • Processing of incidents and contact person for the developers
  • Oncall support
  • Regular contact with software vendors and the outsourcing partner

You check these boxes:

  • Several years of practical experience in the mainframe environment (e.g. TSO, SDSF, JES2, JCL) as well as with various mainframe programming languages such as CLIST, REXX and possibly Assembler
  • High selfmotivation, ability to work in a team as well as independent and accurate way of working
  • Interest in learning new things
  • Willingness for occasional weekend work
  • Good English skills and the willingness to learn German
