Advantages:

  • Proven experience in automotive software engineering
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • In-depth understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay
  • Knowledge of development processes and tool chains in automotive software development
  • Understanding of the AUTOSAR architecture
  • SW integration knowledge
  • Knowledge in Basic Software and AUTOSAR RTOS configuration
  • Familiarity with automotive standards like ASPICE and ISO26262
  • Awareness of automotive cybersecurity principles and practices

Responsibilities:

  • Designing software architecture requirements, specifications, and designs
  • Maintaining software module interfaces
  • Collaborating with software development activities to evaluate, review, and clarify requirements, architecture, and implementation
  • Coordinating with system and hardware design to align software, hardware, and system architecture
  • Assisting in selecting suitable design solutions considering hardware and software design for architectural solutions development
  • Supporting software QA and integration
  • Developing and maintaining software architecture from concept to production
  • Developing software in compliance with automotive standards and processes
  • Defining/Supporting software FMEA for safety critical products

Requirements:

  • Bsc/Msc in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar field
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming or model-based development
  • Experience with UML/SysML architecture modeling and related tools
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders, developers, and project managers
