Functional Owner

Are you passionate about managing and overseeing the functional aspects of vehicle components, systems, or software throughout the development lifecycle? This role involves defining requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that functional objectives are met within the established timelines and quality standards.


Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for one or multiple project(s) steering for a defined feature set in alignment with the project management team and main contact to customer for a defined feature set
  • Responsible for having a full overview of the Vmodel and enabling peers to bring the defined feature set to 100 % fulfillment
  • Solve conflicts of prioritization between projects
  • Responsible for budget, time, scope, and quality for defined feature set
  • Responsible for identifying change requests and risks for the defined feature set and communicating them to dedicated project roles
  • Ensure that the deliverables from suppliers have an agreed scope and quality

Your Profile:

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development, ideally in the automotive sector
  • Basic experience as project management or technical lead
  • Knowledge in automotive quality
- and safety
- standards (ASPICE, ISO26262) is a plus

  • High interest in coordination between other teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in agile development methods (such as Scrum and SAFe) is a plus
  • Proactive personality with excellent communication skills
  • Structured, goaloriented way of working
  • Excellent command of English is a must, German is an advantage
