Demand Planning Specialist

We are currently seeking a Service Demand Planning Specialist (M/F/d) to join our team.

In this role you will have full responsibility for planning the assigned spare parts, ensuring proper demand planning and parts availability.

This role will also involve managing continuous improvement tasks and participating in projects to define and plan actions to meet deadlines.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for planning the assigned spare parts, ensuring their availability to meet demand
  • Guarantee proper demand planning by executing the demand planning cycle monthly, including statistical forecast, demand shaping, and safety stock
  • Manage assigned continuous improvement tasks, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations
  • Participate in projects, contributing to the definition and planning of actions to meet project deadlines
  • Analyze problems, suggest solutions, and receive moderate level of guidance from more senior roles to ensure continuous learning and development
  • Monitor KPIs to detect critical items and plan corrective actions to address any issues
  • Handle the item activation process, ensuring that the SLA target is met
  • Support high priority material planning project, aligning with suppliers, and analyzing purchase order behavior
  • Maintain the system set up (Oracle and Demantra) for all managed spare parts, ensuring accurate and uptodate information
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, International Management, Supply Chain etc.
  • Good working experience in a related field
  • Proficient in MS-Office, especially Excel, relational databases, and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills and problemsolving abilities
  • Basic project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Experience with PowerBI and R is a plus
  • Excellent command of English, German is a plus


The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.591,87 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
