To strengthen our Supply Chain Team we are looking for a
Senior Manager Inventory Management (f/m/d).
You will be part of a dynamic and motivated team preparing Palfinger for the challenges of the future.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Inventory Management of all "Operationsresponsible" Inventories to establish stateofthe art inventory management practices within S&OP team
  • Establish stateoftheart inventory management processes, standards and targets
  • Communicating with location managers to maintain required inventory levels of various locations (Plants, suppliers, Dealers)
  • Setup inventory trainings to establish companywide standards and competences
  • Collaborate and take the lead of related colleagues in SCM, Operations, Procurement and PLM&E to achieve inventory optimization targets
  • Derive inventory management measures, establish followup processes and monitoring
  • Lead inventory reduction program , develop short
- and long-term measures on inventory management and establish continuous improvement program

  • Manage tradeoffs in inventorycostsservicelevelsustainability targets while considering company goals
  • Manage and oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliation at multiple locations on multiple dates per year
  • Longterm development of a team, which sustainably manages the inventory

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in SCM or a similar oriented technical degree
  • 24 years work experience in SCM in a global organization
  • Strong analytic and conceptual capabilities
  • High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined
  • Project management skills
  • Very accurate and structured way of working and presenting
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Business English (German optional)

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.068,12 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
