You will be tasked with setting target specifications for high voltage power products in automotive applications like OBC, defining crucial product details, and preparing application tests.   • Collaborate with development, marketing, and key-customers during the design phase, offering on-site technical support for selected key customers and our sales force
  • Drive future application-specific product enhancements and propose new products in conjunction with Product Marketing/Product Development
  • Define and develop test boards and lab benches
  • Conduct application-specific lab testing, meticulously documenting results
  • Create promotional material based on the value proposition
  • Carry out feasibility studies and review concept/product architecture
  • Assist in internal verification and customer validation of prototypes
  • Provide and review technical content for the product roadmap
  • Offer training and transition responsibilities to Application Engineers

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A university/university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and/or testing of power supplies
  • Familiarity with simulation (Simetrix, Simplis, Spice) and layout (Altium, Eagle) software
  • Experience in technical customer support and cross-cultural communication
  • Proficiency in English with knowledge of German as a bonus
  • Willingness to travel
