Our business

Your role:

  • Support definition of strategic mid
- to long-term portfolio strategy for b2b customers in order to address future customer demand

  • Systematically translate customer insights, needs & trends, legislative drivers and competitive intelligence into future customer solutions & business opportunities and draft business plans and implementation roadmaps
  • Establish a strong internal and external network and ecosystem to systematically screen and generate concrete emerging business opportunities that support OMV Strategy 2030
  • Originate, design and drive implementation of new customeroriented partnerships, new business models and innovative product / service offering (from idea generation to feasibility studies & business plans, piloting, and implementation roadmaps to launch)
  • Drive the increasing share of sustainable products / services in the portfolio in line with strategic targets together with key stakeholders thereby acting as incubator for new offering opportunities
  • Shape and utilize customercentric innovation processes and methodologies in close cooperation with digital and technical innovation departments

Your profile:

  • University Degree Master/Diploma in Business Administration & Management, Marketing, Project Management, or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 35 years relevant working experience in business development, new business generation or management consulting, ideally in a B2B context
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering new business models
  • Experience in working with key customer segments (aviation, marine, commercial road transport, construction & industry) is an advantage
  • Handson execution and project management capabilities
  • Outstanding conceptual thinking and ability to develop solutions for complex problems in a dynamic market environment
  • Customer
- and partnership-oriented personality with strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German or CEE languages is an advantage
