What You'll Do
Accountable for technical design (3D modeling and 2D prints) Perform engineering tolerance analyze of mechanical modules Verification and documentation of process module systems to meet the systems specifications Execute technical designs to meet all engineering requirements regarding given Compliance and Safety Standards Accountable for BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and documentation release Technical response to meet all interface requirements with other modules and machine environment Technical design support to solve supplier and production problems including obsolescence part executionWho We're Looking For
Apprenticeship (LAP) in technical design or Technical High School (HTL) in mechanical engineering Excellent knowledge with AutoCAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) is required Experience with design creation of mechanical modules Good oral and written communication skills in English Good knowledge in MS OfficeEmployment in Austria
This position will be occupied in Villach, Austria over a third party company. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group D or E, depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
