Your Role:
  • You will be working in the Product Foundation team to build and enhance the base for financial services, making sure everyone, no matter their age, location or financial status, can access Scalable's digital services.
  • Your main tasks will involve developing, maintaining, and enhancing services that protect the integrity and privacy of our clients, ensuring the safety of their investments.
  • You will collaborate with a highly motivated group of software engineers within our organization.
  • Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and participate in modern software development methodologies such as agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Your responsibilities will include writing clean, testable, and well-documented code while emphasizing the importance of security in all aspects of your work.
  • You will be instrumental in driving engineering excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
  • A degree from a university in a relevant field like Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in full backend development with Java/Kotlin, JWT, Docker, Spring, AWS, Git, Docker, GraphQL, and RESTful API.
  • At least 3 years of frontend development experience using technologies such as Typescript, React, NextJs, Cypress, WebPack, Material Design, and Express.
  • A strong passion for well-structured, testable, and documented code with an agile mindset.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking in both technical and product-related domains.
  • Hands-on experience in complex software projects involving Microservices and end-to-end ownership.
  • Practical knowledge of AWS or another major cloud service provider.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, both professional and articulate.
  • Previous exposure to security-related aspects and/or DevOps practices is highly beneficial.
  • A background in financial services and product development within the financial industry is advantageous.

Recruitment Process Overview:

  1. Initial application review
  2. Participate in a 90-minute online coding challenge
  3. Conduct an approximate 45-minute Initial Interview
  4. Engage in a final round consisting of 3 separate interviews, each lasting 60 minutes
