AVL List GmbH has an exciting job opportunity in Austria for a Product Manager in the field of Battery Testing Solutions. Are you passionate about electric mobility and eager to stay ahead of the curve? Batteries play a crucial role in driving the shift towards a more sustainable future.

Join us and take on the role of Product Manager for the Battery Testing Solutions business unit.

You will serve as the bridge between our product development team working on battery testing systems and the global market, including sales teams and customers worldwide. Your task will be to enhance and expand our product portfolio.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze market and competitive conditions: Investigate global market demands, trends, and competition to effectively position our product range.
  • Develop product strategies: Formulate, refine, and communicate product strategies, roadmaps, and business plans.
  • Manage requirements and costs: Specify and prioritize product features and requirements, and optimize cost targets.
  • Coordinate with Research & Development (R&D): Share the product vision and objectives with R&D project managers and the development team.
  • Execute product launches: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and provide support throughout all product lifecycle phases.
  • Support sales and marketing: Aid in proposal preparation, product presentations, and the creation of marketing and sales materials.
  • Organize events and training sessions: Arrange and manage conferences, publications, customer workshops, and conduct product training for the sales team.


YOUR PROFILE:
  • Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in fields such as electrical engineering, physics, telematics, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in direct current sources or high-voltage batteries.
  • Experience in product management and technical sales.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent marketing and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized with a focus on achieving goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Commercial and strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in German and English for business communication.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.

Annual Remuneration:

As per the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we provide the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a negotiation starting point. The actual salary will be based on qualifications and experience within the framework of the Collective Agreement for Employees of the Industry.
