The Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) of the Austrian Academy of

Sciences (OeAW), Austria's leading non-university research and science institution in Applied Mathematics,

POSTDOC POSITION (FM)

_in the Mathematical Data Science Group__ _
(full-time, 40h per week)


for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of an extension to up to six years in total.

Starting date is to

be arranged.

The full-time position is affiliated with the Mathematical Data Science Group at RICAM, located in Linz/Austria.

The hired person will work on problems related to high dimensional partial differential equations and/or signal

processing with particular emphasis on machine learning based methods.

Your profile:

  • Doctorate related to the requirements mentioned below
  • Strong background in mathematical foundations of data science (machine learning, compressed sensing,
signal processing, stochastic analysis)

  • Strong background in numerical mathematics and computing
  • English skills needed
