Your personal sphere of influence

:

As a university assistant prae doc, you will be part of the team of Univ.
Prof. Dr. Irmgard Marboe and take on tasks such active participation in teaching as well as in research and publication projects. Our research focus is on public international law.

Your future tasks

:

  • You collaborate in research, teaching and administrative tasks at the Department.
  • Dissertation writing: you conduct research on your topic, spend one third of your working time on your dissertation or other independent research activities with the aim of deepening your own professional and academic knowledge.
  • You participate in examinations, in particular in the FÜM 1, and in evaluation activities.
  • Independent teaching of courses and holding examinations within the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement will also be part of your tasks.

This is part of your personality

:

  • Degree: you have completed your diploma/master's degree in law, which entitles you to study for doctoral studies, or an equivalent qualification with a focus on international law and European law.
  • You have completed an Erasmus stay.
  • You have excellent language skills (oral and written) in German and in English; maybe you have also other language skills.
  • Maybe you have already experiences in working at the university, from professional employment or from working in an NGO.
  • Maybe you have already teaching experience or published academic papers.
  • You have computer skills in connection with the preparation of legal texts and readytopublish manuscripts.
  • You work independently and are both a good communicator and team player.
