Here's what we're looking for:


We are looking for a curious, motivated and detail-oriented
Business Analytics Intern to join our Business Analytics and Competitive Intelligence team, starting in July/August, 2023.We are looking for a student in BS Data, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Business Administration with a high interest and aptitude in analytics, statistical methods or data science.

You will help us to analyse and validate the needs of our internal and external stakeholders, taking part in the development, testing and monitoring of reporting and analytics solutions, to support our patients' experience and excel in our mission to "make diabetes suck less".You will get the opportunity to learn about data pipelines for reporting and analytics, QA processes and reporting automation, directly supporting the Data Quality Management through monitoring tasks and proactive bug spotting.


Essential skills for your mission:

  • You like to gather, analyze and review data, for example for our product performance KPIs to prepare or monitor a new product launch
  • You will help running data queries in standard business intelligence and analytics platforms
  • You will support the design and development of KPI dashboards
  • You have good knowledge of working with Excel/Spreadsheets
  • You have already acquired Basic SQL knowledge
  • You are familiar with basic data frameworks and database structures
  • You are either an EU citizen or hold a valid Austrian work permit
  • You have great written and verbal communication skills in English

Bonus skills:

  • Familiarity with standard business intelligence and analytics platforms (i.e. Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, or Looker)
  • Past experience in analytics & reporting or similar roles
  • Knowledge of the diabetes industry or other comparable health industries
  • Experience working in startup environments
  • Degree in quantitative studies or computer science is a plus
