We look for an intern for our Data & Analytics Team in Vienna.

Your Tasks

Data Governance

  • Supporting the establishment of a data governance structure, roles and responsibilities
  • Monitoring data quality and support the business in solving data quality issues
  • Evangelizing the usage of the data architecture with the goal to harmonize and standardize datadriven processes and workflows
  • Supporting the development of datarelated skills ("data literacy")
Data Analytics

  • Identifying and realizing datadriven business projects together with business stakeholders
  • Exchanging and collaborating with ZEISSwide partners to realize datadriven projects and to drive new innovative ideas
Your Profile

  • Active Student in Business and/ or IT with focus on Data Science/ Business Intelligence/ Data Management/ Business Informatics
  • First professional experience beneficial, but not required
  • Good understanding of data management principles and tasks (data quality, data governance, data architecture, data modelling, metadata,)
  • Good experience in engineering and analyzing data (e.g., using SQL and/ or Python)
  • Action

  • Good command of English
  • German Skills or Willingness to learn German


During your internship you can arrange your weekly hours flexible to suit your schedule (including home office) and you will have the option to change your working hours some month fulltime other's part time.

We offer you practical experience in an international and growing organization with potential for data & analytics, lots of trainings and certifications are free of charge (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, SEO, etc.) and a gross annual salary of € 27.230, (Fulltime).

We look for an intern for at least six months, open duration up to one year.
