Aufgaben

Electrical engineering is becoming increasingly important with electromobility. Our "System Design Electric & Safety" department, with 40 dedicated team members, works on the development & project planning of electrical systems and automation solutions for our AVL test bed systems and is in close contact with our customers.

As team leader for electrical planning, you will take responsibility for an international team and provide expert support for projects in the field of our state-of-the-art electrification test beds. Your expertise, team spirit and leadership skills will make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction and the success of the department.

Your responsibilities:

  • Professional leadership of an international team in Graz and Spain
  • Supervision of large-scale projects in the field of electrification test beds
  • Supporting the team with:
    • Basic and detailed engineering/planning incl. calculation of industrial electrical systems and automation solutions
    • Design of measurement and control systems as well as low-voltage switchgears
    • Interface engineering and system integration
    • Design and evaluation of safety technology (functional safety)
  • Checking and ensuring the quality of the team's engineering documents before they are handed over to the colleagues in Engineering
  • Support in the preparation of technical offers
  • Task force management in the projects
  • Pro-active interface function to customers and in-house technical teams
  • Involvement and supervision of suppliers
  • Further development of our system standards

Profil
  • Completed training (Master Craftsman, University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology) with a focus on electrical engineering or automation technology
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in electrical design
  • Experience in EPLAN P8, Sistema and SAP is an advantage
  • Leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Strategic and analytical skills as well as joy in innovative work
  • Team spirit
  • Diplomatic skills and self-confidence
  • Very good in English, German skills are an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €65,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
