This is what you can expect
– Your tasks involve assisting with concept creation and related activities for creating a process-oriented resource management throughout Wiener Linien with a focus on a sustainable, environmentally focused transport system
– In sustainability projects, you will also focus on resource management and recycling management
– Your tasks further include system and potential analyses as well as technology and process comparisons in the areas of resource savings in consultation with the head of the staff unit.
– You will provide assistance in preparing collaborative endeavours with industry partners and in developing innovative solutions to reach the energy and climate goals
– You will work on designing WL-internal implementation and on the practical application of environmental legislation, e.g. CSRD, taxonomy and waste management by developing procedures and rules while assisting with the creation of a management system for IMS
– Lastly, your tasks will involve national and international industry networking as well as work on committees, governing bodies and during processes
This is what you will contribute
– You have completed training with a leaving certificate ("Matura") or in the best scenario a degree in the areas of environmental technology, waste management, process technology, energy technology or similar
– You have also gained some relevant professional experience in a comparable role and are familiar with all facets of energy, waste and recycling management as well as with the underlying laws and standards
– You have excellent analytical and strategic skills paired with a good understanding of economics and awareness of costs
– You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and have already had the opportunity to apply your very good communication skills and professional bearing
– Your proactive approach, high sense of responsibility and ability to assert yourself when necessary will support you in this role
