Pricing Expert (all genders) Company: NEVEON Holding GmbH Location: Vienna Employment Type: Permanent About the Role NEVEON is seeking a hands-on mid-level expert to lead the development and implementation of a sales-focused CPQ (Configure/Cost, Price, Quote) tool. This role leverages costing and pricing expertise to standardize cost calculations and develop a mark-up-based pricing framework aimed at improving quoting accuracy and profitability. You will create interim Excel solutions and contribute as both a project manager and subject matter expert. For the long run, you will drive its rollout, train the organization, and take on ongoing responsibilities as a central pricing manager. Key Responsibilities * Lead the CPQ tool design, including functional specification development and testing ERP data for calculation suitability and integration. * Deliver and refine interim Excel-based solutions to address immediate needs and test foundational concepts for the CPQ tool. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define and simplify costing principles and pricing frameworks. Build scalable base cost calculation and flexible pricing models. * Oversee testing, implementation, and organization-wide rollout of interim solutions and the CPQ tool. * Train teams on the tool and pricing frameworks, ensuring adoption and effectiveness. * Analyze pricing performance and refine strategies to improve profitability. About You * 2-3 years of consulting experience in costing/pricing projects or 4+ years of industry experience in pricing/costing. * Proven expertise in cost calculations, pricing frameworks, and tool development. * Strong knowledge of commercial concepts, tools, and processes, with experience in working with B2B commercial transaction data. * Advanced MS Excel skills with experience in building interim tools and prototypes, along with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI). * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop and refine costing and pricing approaches. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical concepts and practical applications for sales teams. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with CPQ systems or pricing tools in B2B manufacturing is an advantage.
